Beaches at Ferragudo promise clear water, a long jetty and stunning views, for nudists, locals and tourists alike.
Among the beaches in Ferragudo, Praia Grande is to be avoided as it is polluted by the Arade estuary. The Praia de Pintadinho, one kilometre south of the town, promises little concrete and clear water. The most popular beach, however, is Caneiros, even further south. Nudists will find their happiness on the Praia Corda. Molhe beach is small, even smaller at high tide, and stands out for its long jetty and the breathtaking view it offers of Portimão. Finally, the one where the locals take refuge to escape the tourists is Castelo.
