For its daily specials, this is definitely an address to remember. Or how to eat well and cheaply, while passing through Monchique at lunchtime... The setting is rather rustic, and the place is noisy because it's on the central square where all the cars go to get from one end of town to the other. But everything is relative in this calm and serene Monchique. The quick, classic dishes (fried chicken, bitoque) are hearty and the service well-rehearsed. A good atmosphere where regulars, workers and tourists meet for a meal or a coffee.
