Silves Municipal Museum of Archaeology, housing an ancient Almohad cistern well in a very good state of preservation.
This particularly interesting museum traces the history and archaeology of the Silves area during the Islamic period from the 8th to the 13th century. It was built on the site of an ancient dwelling house, where an ancient well-tank from the Almohad period was found, which was to supply the hammam of Xelb, around which the museum was built. In a very good state of conservation, it is considered a unique piece of its kind in the country.
