Oriental-style cultural center offering contemporary art exhibitions, oriental dance classes and music performances.

Oriental-style cultural center opened in 2007, with a lovely Mediterranean plant garden. Contemporary art exhibitions on themes relating to Mediterranean countries and the Arab world. Also oriental dance classes and musical performances, where Arab influences are never far away... It's a shame that this center, which is very well run by Filipe Rego, doesn't receive more subsidies from the town council to develop its activities in a city where Arab heritage is omnipresent. A word to the wise...
