Don't be surprised to see a line of locals waiting for their table without an ounce of irritation, because in the town of Pêra, there is no place more authentic. And if Zé, for those who know it well, has not bet on a sophisticated decoration, the flavor of the fresh fish of the day grilled to perfection is there, and it is accompanied by simple batatas cooked in their skin and green salad. Checkered tablecloths and pitchers of homemade wine reinforce the Portuguese soul that permeates the place. Very very local, simple and terribly effective.
