Excellent hotel. The design of the rooms is very well thought of matching the culture of the Algarve. Very colorful and family friendly. They also have a kids playground which is a bit hidden and not mentioned by the staff but if you walk towards the beach you will find it easily. We had a bad smell throughout our stay in the bathroom but it wasn’t very strong that we didn’t bother letting them know as we didn’t want to change rooms (difficult with a toddler). Food is good. Pool side is really nice but surely they have better beaches than the closest one to the hotel. With everything I’ve mentioned, it’s a great hotel and the best W we stayed at and are definitely coming back.

Husband and I stayed here last year. We had some issues with the room but the hotel addressed the issue almost immediately. They also provided us with complimentary late check out. Location was a bit remote but we didn’t mind staying at the resort. Friendly staff. Overall it was a good experience.

Das Hotel ist neu und modern, jedoch ist das Personal leider schnell überfordert, besonders angesichts der großen Anzahl an Gästen. Beim Frühstück, obwohl nur wenige Tische besetzt waren, mussten wir mindestens 15 Minuten auf den Kaffee warten. Im Spa-Bereich war die Dame längere Zeit friedlich mit Kunden am plaudern. Ich hätte halbnackt darauf warten müssen, irgendwelche Formulare auszufüllen. Dies ist weit entfernt von einem 5-Sterne-Hotelservice. Das Außenschwimmbad war 4 Tage lang wegen Reparaturen geschlossen und am Ende war das Wasser war dort nicht beheizt. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht angemessen, es scheint mehr zu sein als tatsächlich geboten wird.

I enjoyed my 4 night stay immensely. The resort has a modern, fun vibe, staff is friendly and energetic, the amenities, including the 2 level pool, spa, gym and restaurants are top notch. Breakfast buffet is so delicious with everything. Above all, it was very relaxing, and the room came with a beautiful view. We also trekked down to the beach which was very private. One of the best, if not the best, resorts I’ve stayed in the Algarve. Extra points For dog hospitality- they baked us fresh doggy cookies! Delicious! Lol

Had literally the worst hotel experience of my life here. Stay at plenty of Marriotts and always had a good experience, including later on on this same trip. We arrived they took our car via valet, took our bags, and offered us drinks. It was our first time staying at a W so we were hesitant to take up their offer since we were worried about upcharging, but they tried to set us at ease. On check-in, they were personable and helpful it seemed. They told us where things were, pointed out that breakfast will be down the hall for us, and gave tips on eating. The room seemed pretty nice, though the automatic privacy curtain was broken and there was no hair dryer so we called it up. Not a big deal, but still you expect a little more from a 5 star hotel. Whatever, that kind of stuff happens.
The next morning, after having been given our free valet, free bag service, and free drinks, and then told about breakfast, we go down to breakfast. They ask for our room number and we give it. Later on they come back and say you're not on the list, and we say yes, the front desk told us about breakfast, and we stayed in this room last night. He comes back and says no. Then he proceeds to tell us that contrary to what the front desk implied, breakfast is not included, and it will cost 75 EURO! We say no way, we'll stop eating right now if that's the case. Instead, the kitchen and waiter person hold us hostage for nearly an hour when we had already planned to be on the road at that time (causing us to miss our next reservation later that day in Seville). No apologizes, no offers to forgive the cost, or even give us some kind of discount for the misrepresentation of the front desk. Unbelievable. Now, I don't want to hear anyone say "oh you should have known!" We had literally never stayed at a W before. We had them offer free drinks, free bag service, and were assured, EVEN AT CHECKOUT AFTER THE BREAKFAST FIASCO, by the valet, "oh don't worry, we're not like that at this hotel". Yeah buddy. Sure. I'm never staying at a W ever again. Ironically, later in the trip, we were offered breakfast at other Marriott hotels, but EVERY TIME they gave us the price of breakfast. W, if you're going to talk about breakfast, you better not lie and mislead your clients, with all the other free offers, and then suddenly hit them with a $75 EURO bill.
The two stars are because the girls that gave us tips were nice and the rooms, other than the missing items and broken screens, were pretty cool too. But the breakfast room service was literally the worst service I've had in any industry ever in my life.

We spent a weekend at the magnificent hotel! The rooms are spectacular and the lobby is the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The best part is the amazing staff that is there to make your stay the best possible experience. I want to call out Pedro who helped us to our rooms and Teddy who was extremely attentive to our needs in the restaurant. Best place to stay in Portugal!

Incredible stay. We went here with our two young children (age 5 and 3): service, property, beach, pool, food, rooms. All top notch. Went in February so it’s not the peak season, but this place is amazing. Shout out to: “JJ” , Eduardo, John and all the staff. The valet team. Everyone top notch. Obrigado

Utterly shocking!! Booking made for Valentines meal only to be called today ,(the day before) to be told they could no longer accommodate us with our dog despite having checked during the booking process that this was all fine. Disgraceful behaviour and we will NEVER recommend this hotel or give them any business in the future. They should be ashamed of themselves for giving NO service and failing to fulfil their commitments to customers

It was an amazing Trip, everyone was extremely friendly and I will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone.
The only thing that was a bit annoying is the daily water show ;-) But it’s ok the rest was perfect!!

Rooms, landscaping, music. Extra unique touches. I'm new back. People who work here and extraordinary.
