All along the river near the village of Alte, relaxation areas have been laid out in lush green surroundings. Two fountains punctuate the walk, where nature and poetry take pride of place: at Fonte Pequena (small), you can read poems by Cândido Guerreiro. Fonte Grande has an amphitheatre where shows are staged. Once used by washerwomen, these fountains are the perfect setting for a family picnic in a peaceful atmosphere.

A quelques minutes à pieds du village de Alte,pose rafraichissante dans les "piscines" aménagées sur la rivière avec possibilité de baignade en saisons avec restaurations.Le lieu est sympa et agréable mais sans doute beaucoup de monde en été.
