7 km west of the city towards Praia de Faro. A good number of international flights and 3 to 4 daily flights to Lisbon by the TAP (www.tap.pt). For France, the airport is served by Easyjet (www.easyjet.com), Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) and Transavia (www.transavia.com) with at least one Paris-Faro flight per day. The building was expanded and modernized in 2017. You can book your parking space on the internet. Bus number 16 is going there. Departure and arrival in front of the bus station on Avenida de la Republica from 5am to 11pm.

Cet aéroport de taille moyenne est situé tout près de la ville et au bord de la lagune. En janvier, l'aérogare était entièrement en travaux de rénovation mais les installations provisoires étaient bien conçues. Les transports, parkings et voitures de location sont très facilement accessibles. La route à 4 voies qui sort de l'aéroport permet un accès rapide à l'autoroute A22, la route N125 et à Faro.
