A Faro icon has reopened its doors, revealing a brand new decoration by Space Invaders, designers who are on the rise in the Algarve. The walls of this legendary 1930s café once saw famous authors such as Pessoa and Simone de Beauvoir pass through and echoed with the songs of Amália Rodrigues, all of whom were attracted by the creative fury of the place. A chic and relaxed brasserie, the Cervejaria Aliança has a nice menu of local dishes: bife na pedra, creamy cod, all washed down with draft beer. A successful bet!
