Perfect, really. Amazingly sweet staff, very spacious dorms, multiple chill hang out spaces, community events, nice bathrooms. Located by a calm square. Couldn't do better for price. Best hostel I've been to

It was the best hostel I‘ve ever stayed at. The team is very friendly and helpful. Rooms, kitchen, showers and toilets are clean. They have enough showers, never waited to use them. The terrace is nice and you can book tours with them (no extra charge) as well as join bar hoping or family dinner (both starts / happens at Hostellicious).

One of the best hostel I ever stayed at. Firstly is super clean hostel and big bonus for toilets. The stuff is also very welcoming and helpful. People are social and everything feels clean, beds are comfy.

Jusqu'alors, j'étais particulièrement satisfait de mes différents séjours dans les auberges de jeunesse du Portugal. Celle-ci, pourtant bien située et offrant de très beaux locaux, est très nettement en dessous de toutes les autres.

Love the double room ! It was a cozy and clean comfortable quiet room ! We even extended our stay but changed to dorms still very good ! Comfortable and love their shower! ????
The staff was so helpful and Nice ! Even let us check in earlier when we were changed to the dorms room !

Fantastic hostel in the centre of Faro. Warm, friendly staff, comfy beds ( with your own little curtain!) and their sister hostel do a fantastic 3 course meal for only €15! Well worth it. But a great place to stay and free pancakes in the morning!

We had a pleasant stay at this hostel, nice staff, good location and pretty ambience.

Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Extremely clean, very friendly reception staff and free vegan pancakes! The location is perfect and the rooms have balconies! If I ever return to Faro, I will come back here. Felt very safe for a young solo female traveller.

Absolutely loved this place. One of the cleanest hostels I've ever been to. Cleaning staff were on top of their game.

I stayed in a 6 bed room and the people were all lovely. People that go to this hostel are very friendly but respectful of your space as well. I suppose I got lucky with the people I met/ time of year I went.

I loved being on the second floor and having a balcony facing the streets down below. The hostel workers are friendly if you engage with them, but will also leave you alone if you do not wish to talk to them. Shoutout to Mario and Rachel in particular.

I loved the layout of the hostel and how they utilized the space. The kitchen is very warm and inviting and it's easy to talk to people there. There are a lot of common areas to hang out in. The rooftop area is a lovely place to sit in and soak in the sun. Overall, everything is maintained very well.

Pancake lady does a wonderful job and should get a raise because of her amazing pancakes. (free pancakes from Sunday - Tuesday)

It's very charming, other than the sofas that felt a bit unsittable sometimes simply due to their unergonomic design, I do not have anything negative to say about this place.

They team up with their sister hostel Hostellicious which is a 5 minute walk away for their dinners and pub crawls (weekends only).

You will meet lovely people from all ages at this great location which is close to both the harbour and the attractions. People need to realize that Faro is a charming seaside city that can be explored in a day or two. If you are not happy with a simple, laid back holiday, it would do you well to book the trips to the rest of the Algarve that the hostel also offers daily.

Right in the centre of Faro this is a great hostel with friendly staff (their English is many times better than my Portuguese) and good facilities to include bathrooms, drinks, recommendations, social space etc.

Cosy hostel near the centre. The staff was very kind and friendly. I stayed there at the beginning of December some nights. There is a good, well equipped kitchen and free coffee in the morning. There are different room types. The location is good centre is walkable. They also offer different activities every day and excursions around Faro. They also offer family dinner every evening with extra charge. I stayed mixed dormitory with 12 bunk beds. It was big room and I liked that the room has two showers with a toilet inside. The bed was comfy, and the rooms were clean. It's a good place for staying longer. I met there many kind people from different countries. I recommend that place.

Ein guter Hostel, wo man sich wie in einer Familie fühlt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Schöne und gemütlicher Aufenthaltsräume. Tee und Kaffee gibt es auch gratis.

Staff is exhausted or doesn't know how to smile. Once there is a problem they don't really care. They gave me a room with a grandpa on the lower bed who was talking to himself/singing, turning on the lights every 10 minutes, caughing, farting, moving etc... So good luck sleeping with that. Apparently he lives there as a friend who came last year told me he was there already. Instead of moving me to another room I paid extra to have a better one so that I can sleep properly. Apparently the fact that I am the only one to complain makes them indifferent. Next time I will go to another hotel. The word hostel means for young people but I guess money rules over everything. I don't think it's normal to accept people who are unstable psychologically or at least make a special room for 50+ only just like for the girls

First of all I am not your friend, I am a customer. I have worked for 10 years in a 5* hôtel in Monaco as receptionist and then concierge and I have traveled enough places around the world so I am being very nice to the employees as I know how hard it can be but I am also leaving the deserved reviews for the managers to make improvements when needed whether they like it or not or whether they will make some or not.
My friend made the reservation for both of us as he already came last year and it was half the price. I told him to book the 6 beds since the price difference was around 5€ but he was sure that everyone will do that and the 12 beds will be empty.
When we arrived the 6 beds room was empty so he asked to move us to the 6 beds but we were quoted 14€ per night as in your system the price is different from hostel world which was around 5€. Even I think it's too much to pay such amounts for a hostel bed as if we combine the two of us the hotel would have been a cheaper option.
So I don't see where did he try to bribe your staff. By wanting to pay a fair price difference? Anyway as I mentioned above I could not sleep and I came at 1 am to change to the 6 beds room and I paid the difference right away as I just wanted to get some proper sleep after 2 weeks of traveling. Your receptionnist did not even give the right change and I was given the difference in the morning and that shows how much I did not care anymore.
Secondly having the very old gentleman acting like he was not stable psychologically makes me feel unsafe and unfortunately he probably needs some professional help so needless to say that he does not belong in a hostel full of young inexperienced people who are afraid to talk/complain.

So I invite you to redo your investigation as I am a man of my word and do have a certain pride but by the end of the day it is up to you to manage the hostel the way you want but from the way you handle a critique... And I can say is good luck!

Friendly hostel.

Really nice hostel and clean. Bathroom and shower in the room . Amazing! But the beds were really loud and when someone moved, everything moved. Great staff and activities!

Direkte und zentrale Lage im Zentrum von Faro. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Geschäfte und Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe und sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Horrible experience: old creepy guests and bedbugs… didn’t get any money back. Very disappointing

The hostel is quite clean and some of the rooms are big.
The reception staff are OK. Not so friendly, but not unfriendly to me. Quit neutral.
I've been to the hostel twice and both times I couldn't sleep because of the noise from the party.
I have to admit that I went on Saturday each time.
I think it's nice to have a barbecue party, but when you have all the drinks you can drink then it's normal that it ends up in a mess.
I think if you don't mind a noisy place where you can have a lot of party then that's the place to be but if you like to sleep at night then it's better to choose another place.

Sehr schönes Hostel mit sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern.
Es gibt viele saubere Duschen und WCs, eine saubere und gut ausgestattete Küche, eine tolle Dachterrasse und oft auch Events. Ich schlief in einem 12er Schlafsaal, doch die Betten waren so hervorragend platziert, dass es sich wie 3 Räume angefühlt hat.
