Clean and central location. The „kitchen“ does not have a stove nor a water kettle. Hence, it should not even be called a kitchen.

El peor sitio en el que estuve en mi vida y tengo dormido en el suelo en festivales en los que estuve mucho más cómoda y mejor. Al llegar ya vimos que la habitación estaba sucia, sobre todo el baño, lleno de pelos en la ducha. Todo roto el mueble del baño, agua sin fuerza y ni estaba caliente. Mejor es dormir en el suelo antes que en esas camas. Pero lo peor no fue eso, lo peor de todo es que había una plaga de chinches y estamos casi seguras de que lo sabían ya que dos de los tres colchones que había estaban forrados de plástico. Las picaduras que nos llevamos fueron horribles y yo me llevé la peor parte ya que me hicieron mucha reacción y tuve que ir al hospital. Nos devolvió el dinero de la reserva que es lo mínimo que podía hacer pero preocupación cero, tuve que molestarme yo todo el tiempo yendo detrás y hablando con Booking para asegurarme del reembolso. El responsable no se quiere hacer cargo de todos mis gastos médicos incluida la desinfección de toda la ropa y mochila (82€). No vayáis porque no fumigan ni hacen nada por hacer que desaparezca la plaga. Vergüenza de sitio y de gerencia. Nos fastidió todas las vacaciones.

I am very pleased with booking my stay in Faro with The Central Guesthouse. The staff is friendly and kind. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The location is great! The only thing that you might find not easy to deal with is the loud trash collection truck late at night or very early in the morning. I have saved their address when I visit again this lovely city :). Pics taken from the room with terrace :)

È la prima volta che faccio una recensione negativa , perché ho uno spazio di tolleranza … ma per la cifra pagata (ma neppure pagando 20€ sarebbe giustificabile) il trattamento riservato è un’assoluta mancanza di rispetto ! Non credo sia possibile a livello igienico sanitario non avere una finestra che permetta di purificare l’aria !! E neppure un piatto doccia ruggine a rischio tetano!!!! Ma siamo veramente in Europa????Truffa è dire poco …

This place is awful! I left early it was that bad booking into an other guest house round the corner. The place is infested with ants! I was there 7 days and my room was not cleaned once despite my requesting numerous times. I had to empty my own bins into the public bins. To try and reduce the amount of ants. I am covered head to toe in bites. My back is extremely sore from the terrible mattress. There was no hammock which is advertised. The owner is the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to in hospitality. All I asked for was my money back for the two nights that I did not stay due to the unsanitary conditions. The room was advertised with AC which it does not have. I had to hunt for toilet roll and fresh towels.

I would strongly recommend to all to avoid this place.

Absolut laut und nicht weiterzuempfehlen.
Es läuft einfach um 2 die Waschmaschine im Schleudergang und man denkt sie steht neben einem.

Terrible! Room was advertised with aircon but did not have anything but 2 old dusty fans, no windows that opened outside (only 1 into an internal hallway) and no natural light. Terrible communication from the owner/manager. Asked to change rooms with no success and had to leave early as the heat was unbearable, no refund or reply was ever received. Would not recommend

I was in this "Guesthouse", accompanied, on a 2 night trip to Faro. Here are the positives and negatives - not a place to go back if they don't change the accommodations

Positive:
The promptness of the collaborators;
The kindness of the collaborators;
The localization
Ease of entry/exit
The security of the surroundings
Storage space inside the room
Hot water quickly, almost instantly

Negative
A lot of dust accumulated in many parts of the room (I send supporting photos);
There was garbage in one of the drawers;
The bed is too noisy and the mattress is too old;
With the bed and nightstand in their proper places, it is impossible to open the closet drawers, because the door on the right does not open all the way.
The air conditioning is old and cannot cool the room, even if it is turned on all day;
It took a lot of insistence, including calls to the owner of the accommodation and threats to write in the complaints book for the shower to have the support option - otherwise it was necessary to hold it to take a shower;
The shower area is tiny, the curtain in this area is touching us throughout the shower and at the end it is impossible for the bathroom not to be all wet:
There is very poor quality toilet paper and there is only liquid hand soap.

Pour les points positifs :
- emplacement parfait
-environnement parfait
-boutiques et restaurants juste en bas
-assez propre

Points négatifs :
-presque jamais personne à l'accueil
-chambre sans fenêtre donc impossible d'aérer + chaleur (chambre la moins chère)
-nous n'avons jamais trouvé le petit déjeuner

En résumé, pas de mauvaise surprise si vous voulez juste un endroit propre pour dormir c'est parfait .

We recently stayed at this guesthouse and had a very unpleasant experience. The room was poorly ventilated with no window, making it very hot and stuffy even in May. The bathroom was also unclean, with noticeable dirt stains on the floor. The mattresses and pillows were full of dust and uncomfortable to sleep on.

The worst part of our stay was the lack of security. Despite the fact that our room was locked, someone broke in during the night while we were sleeping. We reported the incident to the administration, but they were unresponsive and didn't take any action to ensure our safety. It was clear from reading other reviews that this was not the first time such an incident had occurred at the guesthouse.

We asked for a refund and to leave the property due to safety concerns, but the administration was and still is unresponsive and we had to leave the next morning without any compensation. We even had to pay for another hotel to stay in, adding insult to injury. It is unacceptable that the guesthouse is still in operation despite their poor security measures and lack of responsiveness. I urge everyone to stay away from this guesthouse.

Wirklich sehr zentral gelegen. Mitten in der Altstadt.
Zimmer nur ein Fenster in den geschlossenen Flur. Keine Frischluft. Sehr laut und hellhörig. Das furzen im Nachbarzimmer wird wie ein Erdbeben wahr genommen. Um 20 Uhr war kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen mehr da.

Die schlimmste Absteige die man sich vorstellen kann. Absolut nicht empfehlenswert.
Wir wurden mit 4 Erwachsenen einem Schulkind und 2 Kleinkindern (1,5 Jahre) in ein 4 Bett Zimmer gesteckt. Absolut unwürdig. Buchen Sie bloß nicht hier.
