Hotel a few meters from the train and bus stations, and a few minutes walk from the historic center.
Just 500 meters from the train and bus stations and less than a 15-minute walk from Faro's historic center, the Alnacir Hotel is a good option for exploring the city. Its rooms are large, simply decorated and have air conditioning, a TV and a bathtub in the bathroom. The mattresses are comfortable for a good night's sleep, and the reception is open 24 hours a day. Possibility of renting a bicycle to go to the beach of Faro to spend the day.

Des voleurs, nous avons été pris en otage car réservé pour 2 personnes mais confirmé pour 1, résultat 35€ de plus par nuit, sans possibilité d’annulation ou de remboursement, donc obligé de rester dans cet établissement rétrograde.
Wifi ne fonctionne pas, isolation phonique inexistante. Les environs sont moches et sans intérêt, vous trouverez facilement mieux et pour bien moins cher. Fuyez cet endroit.

On the plus side:
The hotel is clean
Good location for the airport (under 6 euro in an uber) and 10 minute walk to the Marina where there's loads of cafes and restaurants
Friendly and helpful reception staff
Aircon worked well
Shower was hot and good water pressure
A mini fridge in the room
Breakfast was OK ish
Cons: it looks like it hasn't been touched since the 80s
The bed is the hardest and most uncomfortable I have ever come across (reception did give extra pillows when I asked but the mattress was awful)
