Beautiful Baroque church concealing an astonishing chapel with interior walls covered with human skulls and bones, as well as an altarpiece.

This beautiful Baroque church hides an astonishing chapel whose interior walls are covered with human skulls and bones: the Capela dos Ossos. Don't miss it on your visit to Faro. In addition to the bones embedded in the walls, you'll also see the tombs on the floor. And don't leave without contemplating the church's altarpiece, with its legion of angels looking at each other, not to mention the beautiful azulejos.
