PERCURSO DA CALÇADINHA
Calçadinha course, 1,480 m long, with flagstones and cobblestones, preserved and renovated at different times.
The Calçadinha route, an ancient Roman paved road, originally linked Ossonoba (Faro) to Pax Iulia (Beja). It extends over a total length of 1,480 metres, crossing a small valley to the south, overlooking a higher area where the Igreja Matriz is located. At present, two sections, known as A and B, are still in a good state of preservation, and the flagstones and paving stones show signs of having been renovated at different times. Depart from the church below for a walk (accessible to all) through history.
