Calçadinha Welcome and Explanatory Center, with part of the heritage of São Brás d'Alportel, offering guided tours.
In 2007, the Calçadinha Visitor and Explanation Centre was set up in the former municipal abattoir, which was completely refurbished for the occasion. This beautiful space showcases part of São Brás de Alportel's archaeological and historical heritage, and serves as a starting point for exploring an ancient Roman road, which has been converted into a 1480-meter-long archaeological walking trail. Guided tours are available for groups of at least 6 people. Valuable tourist information on the region is provided by the Center's staff.
