Calçadinha Welcome and Explanation Center, with part of the heritage of São Brás d'Alportel, offering guided tours.
The Calçadinha Visitor and Explanation Centre was set up in 2007 in the fully renovated former municipal abattoir. This beautiful space showcases part of Brás de Alportel's archaeological and historical heritage, and serves as a starting point for exploring an ancient Roman road that has been converted into a 1480-meter-long archaeological walking trail. The Calçadinha hiking trail (accessible to all) starts below the church. Guided tours are available for groups of 6 or more.
