It is one of the most charming establishments in the Cafés d'Histoire. The statue of the poet Antonio Aleixo, a loyal customer who has marked Loulé's cultural life, welcomes you to its terrace. Inside, you can breathe a Belle Époque atmosphere enhanced by the colours and original materials such as Brazilian woods. First called Café Central, then Carioca, Louletano and finally Calcinha, the brewery now offers daily specials at unbeatable prices as well as a pastry area featuring old flavours such as folhado.
