MUSEU DOS FRUTOS SECOS
A museum offering tours of the machines and techniques used to process fruit typical of the region.
This small museum opened in December 1998 and offers a quick trip into the lair of the Algarve's specific agriculture. It exhibits the machinery and techniques for harvesting and processing the typical fruits of the region (alfarroba, almonds, figs). The Algarve is in fact one of the regions producing the largest quantity of dried fruits, which each one probably has its preference. The visit is quick, there is only one room, but the essential is said. Stop by and take a look, you'll come away with new knowledge.
