The first hotel to open in the city, in spring 2010, was this 5-star. This Real Hotel Group establishment has every luxury imaginable: beautiful ultra-design rooms with all modern comforts, an excellent breakfast, a magnificent outdoor swimming pool facing the Ria Formosa, a well-equipped Spa, a fitness room, a kids club, two bars, two restaurants... All this, just above the marina, right in the center of town and at affordable rates for those looking for a luxurious stay in the Algarve.

Cet hôtel nous avait été chaudement conseillé donc nous avons réservé 4 nuits. Mais nous sommes déçus, beaucoup de tape à l'oeil : ce 5* n'offre pas les prestations attendues, ni même celles que nous avons eues dans un 4* juste avant d'arriver ici, à savoir que tout est payant malgré le prix de la chambre ! Dans le précédent hôtel 4* (à 69€ la nuit !), on nous apportait une bouteille d'eau minérale chaque jour ; ici, seulement le jour d'arrivée, et rien les jours suivants (il faudrait débourser 3€ pour une bouteille d'eau de 33cl !!!) et nous avions dans l'autre hôtel une boîte de mouchoirs en papier dans la chambre (pas ici), ils en sont donc à 1 bouteille d'eau et un paquet de mouchoirs près ! Une machine à café dans la chambre, mais pas de bouilloire avec thé, il faut donc aimer le café ! Sans compter le bonnet de bain obligatoire pour la piscine intérieure (puisque nous apprenons que l'extérieure n'est pas accessible en ce moment !) qui est loué 3€ par jour ! Au petit déj, même pas de jus d'orange pressée (contrairement au 4* précédent) alors que nous sommes en pleine saison des agrumes ! Pour tout ça, nous ne renouvellerons pas l'expérience ici.

Très bon emplacement en bord de mer et proche des commerces. Hôtel qui aurait besoin d’un ravalement et de quelques rénovations mais personnel adorable. Bon restaurant et excellent buffet au petit déjeuner.

Beautiful apartment, really spacious, the cleaners come regularly. The rooftop pool is great,the view especially is wonderful. Once we got our bearings, there are a couple of good ,small markets close by. The Figo does wonderful food, as does The Titanic. Both have very reasonable prices,fresh food and wonderful staff. The restaurants along the marina charge for the view as well as the food, which is fair enough. Come away from the front and great food at reasonable prices are all around.
Must come back to the wonderful apartment, and how good it is to get back to when you've had a long walk and are a bit footsore. Highly recommended. Maybe some utensils such as place mats,colander, measuring jug would be a benefit, but this didn't detract from a truly wonderful holiday with this beautiful apartment at the centre.
