This hotel was a highlight of our stay in Algarve. We spent 3 nights in a beautiful room, with a delicious breakfast in the hotel’s courtyard. There are lots of paintings in the hotel, which is located in an historical 17th century building. The terrace has citrus trees and a small pool. Everything is charming, and the staff is very welcoming and efficient.

SPBH est un hôtel de charme parfait pour un séjour à deux. Il est parfaitement situé au cœur de Tavira. L’hôtel est décoré avec soin, les chambres sont confortable et la literie haut de gamme. Le personnel est accueillant, et la cuisinière nous a régalé avec des plats simples mais extrêmement bien cuisinés (mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuné).

We stayed here for two nights. It was lovely. We had a beautiful patio to ourselves (we were top floor #5) and the main level patio was also very inviting with a pool for the 5 suites. This patio also hosted the very excellent breakfast spread. The room was very well appointed, we had lots of room and a huge double bed. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. The location on the square is perfect. It was all couples when we were there - definitely a romantic spot!

Had an amazing 4 night stay at this beautiful boutique hotel which was the perfect way to start our holiday in Portugal. Located really in the centre of Tavira in a beautifully restored 17th century home, with a beautiful courtyard and plunge pool. The room was large and luxurious, with views over the square. Monica was a gem and so kind and helpful, and breakfast in the courtyard was amazing. Highly recommended!

We had a great time staying at this hotel, amazing rooms and tasteful decoration in rest of the house; backyard/terrace with pool where you can chill out.
The breakfast was delicious and Monica and rest of the staff where really amicable and helpful, they made us feel at home.

Amazing place to stay. It's like being welcomed in somebody's home. There is art everywhere, the breakfast is served on antique china and with silver cutlery. Not sure if the glasses were crystal, but that wouldn't surprise me! The room was nice, although a bit dark and only a small AC. We were there in April so temperature was ok, but I guess in the summer it must be really warm. The little private terrace was nice and the pool was welcomed! And last but not least, the location is just perfect. Right in the center of town next to plenty of restaurants. I highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing. Perfect location to be very close to EVERYTHING — yet just a block away from the noise. 4 rooms only — don’t delay reservations. Staff is excellent — helpful, approachable and fun. TIP: Some rooms have stairs — if stairs are an issue, there’s an excellent room on the base level that faces back courtyard.

Trato excelente. Los anfitriones han sido encantadores y muy atentos. Hotel con encanto, muy bonito y muy limpio. La ubicación excelente, en el centro de Tavira. Muy recomendable.

A true gem with an amazing staff in a beautifully kept historic town house very central in Tavira. A splendid breakfast in a cozy atmosphere. Spacious and clean room and a nice little patio with a small pool to cool off after a hot day. We did not have time to explore every corner of the house with its art and unique deco but would love to come back. Thank you Carla and the whole team!
