The Largo da Feira windmill is part of the municipality's museological pole, to keep the old traditions alive.
Restored in 2003 by the municipality of Castro Verde, the windmill Largo da Feira has started to grind again, after a period of inactivity of more than 60 years! Maintained by a resident miller, it is part of the municipality's museum center, which is dedicated to keeping ancient traditions alive. Visits can take place whenever this small industrial sailing ship is in operation. Group visits must be requested from the Center for the Promotion of Heritage and Tourism (next to the Municipal Amphitheater).
