This is one of the city's most popular establishments, and rightly so: the house serves excellent traditional specialties. Açorda alentejana as a starter, followed by game, partridge or wild boar fricassee (during the hunting season) will satisfy the best appetites. But beware: half a portion is more than enough! A good place to discover rustic flavors before moving on. Good to know: for those wishing to spend the night in Mértola, this is one of the few places open in the evening.
