Every year, the municipality of Serpa organizes festivities in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which are eagerly awaited by the local population. The festivities begin with live entertainment, followed the next day by an all-day craft market and a liturgical concert at Saint Paul's church. Added to this are numerous concerts on the Praça da República and the traditional ethnographic parade through the streets to accompany the patron saint to the chapel. All with fervor.
