MIRÓBRIGA RUINS
Miróbriga was one of the most important commercial centers during the Roman Empire.
Situated on a hill, these ruins date from between the 9th century B.C. and the 3rd century A.D. Built on the remains of a Celtic village, Miróbriga was one of the most important trading centers at the time of the Roman Empire. The ruins are impressive and give a good idea of what a Roman village might have been like. The stores, villas, forum and temple (in fairly good condition) would satisfy an enthusiast in their own right. But it's the bridge and what's left of the thermal baths that give the whole an exceptional character.
