IGREJA DE N. SENHORA DAS SALVAS (OR DAS SALAS)
This church, located 200 meters east of the Fort of Revelimun, is a beautiful example of late Gothic art in the Alentejo.
This church was built in the 18th century at the instigation of the famous navigator Vasco de Gama himself, when he discovered the route to India. Situated 200 meters east of the Revelim Fort, this magnificent white building features a beautiful Manueline portico and 18th-century azulejos. It's a fine example of late-Gothic Alentejo art. The Museum of Sacred Art is not free, but don't let its low price deter you from visiting.
