In a residential area, good taste is the order of the day: a warm, typical decor featuring wood and cork, a top-quality wine list and, above all, a selection of traditional, tasty regional dishes. Good bread, good cheese, appetizing petiscos and some hearty cod dishes. An atmosphere that rightly combines authenticity and elegance. And when the weather's fickle, there's nothing quite like sipping a glass of port by the fire in one of the Chesterfield armchairs.

The restaurant " In Tasca Do Celso" with its white façade and blue, is the elegant place to eat in Villa Nova de Milfontes.
The entrance is made passing in front of a beautiful wooden bar, then the room reveals beautiful tables and chairs in a chic and luxurious atmosphere. The dishes, slightly more expensive than the average, are delicious and well presented. The meal begins moreover with many starters to finish with good dried figs, nuts, hazelnuts and liqueurs.
Quality is truly exceptional and of until the guest waits passing pas de door. The service is attentive, but only fault, staff tends with too much to feel with the young couple looking for inexpensive plans he came in the bad.

Très bon accueil et cadre chaleureux et authentique .
La carte est intéressante et comprend des plats typiques de la région (j'ai choisi la viande de porc à l'Alentejo (gros morceaux de porc rôti accompagné de coques).
c'était franchement délicieux et servi en quantité plus que suffisante.
L'eau à table est de l'eau locale filtrée gazéifiée (ce qui plaît à mon côté écolo)
Le dessert local ("tarte plum au gingembre") était le seul point plus faible, à mon goût.
Les prix (plat 14 €, dessert 4 €) sont fort raisonnables. Beaucoup de petits accompagnements sont proposés (et payants comme partout au Portugal).
