This natural park extends from the Alentejo to the Algarve over 120 km from the south of Sines to the tip of Cabo de São Vicente and beyond to Burgau. It is a coastal area rarely exceeding 6 km in width. It is 60,624 hectares of cliffs, schistose and limestone coves and 28,992 hectares of marine areas. A domain where the osprey, the red-billed bitch, the smooth-backed kite, the rock pigeon or the carnivorous bat evolve freely.
