ADEGA VELHA
Don't be fooled by its modest storefront, because Adega Velha is a real tasca, with its checkered tablecloths and earthenware crockery, which will delight your taste buds. In an old cellar whose walls are covered with huge terracotta wine jars, you can enjoy well-crafted dishes. Incidentally, the wine served is produced on site and drawn from these jars. Then it's on to the house specialties: sheep's cheese preserved in olive oil, feijão com chouriça, partridge or hare, accompanied by homemade rye bread. Punctual, attentive service.
