It was the Berbers who introduced Merino sheep to the Iberian Peninsula. This high-quality wool, with its fine, soft texture, resistance and anti-allergic properties, was first used to weave blankets and coats for the shepherds of Alentejo. The traditional techniques and patterns have been passed down to us and now embellish rugs, poufs, suitcases, bags... Superb colors, incomparable feel: one of the region's finest crafts!
