A small Portuguese table as you like it: antique plates all over the walls, shelves full of bottles, a wooden effigy of a debonair chef in the corner of the bar. For more than 12 guests, the restaurant is fully booked... The menu is simple, the plates well-stocked, the dishes regional: pataniscas de bacalhau, caldeirada de borrego, game in season (hare). For dessert, the sericaia with Elvas plums (a cross between a cake and an omelette) is succulent. An address for petiscar, i.e. nibbling on a little of everything..

J'ai connu ce restaurant lors de notre voyage à évora en Portugal. L'ambiance y est fort sympathique
