One of the most beautiful pousadas in Portugal, known as Pousada Convento de Évora.
Also known as Pousada Convento de Évora, this is one of the country's finest pousadas. It is located next to the Temple of Diana, in a 15th-century convent whose former monastic cells have been converted into rooms of great refinement. The marble staircase, the Renaissance gallery and the splendid Manueline door have been preserved, while the rest of the establishment has been fitted out in keeping with the original architectural features. Even the swimming pool is integrated into the building. If you can't sleep here, you can just have lunch!
