This elegant square lies to the south-east of the cathedral, close to the city's original entrance. It is famous for its stunning white marble fountain, sculpted by Diogo de Torralva (1556). This Renaissance fountain has the rare characteristic of being spherical! To the south of the square stand Casa Cordovil, a 16th-century residence with an arcaded loggia designed in a Manueline-Moorish style, and Casa Soure, with an arcaded terrace.

Promenade Largo Das Portas de Moura à Evora
Au Portugal, la place située à Evora, rue Largo das Portas de Moura permet de découvrir une très belle fontaine en marbre blanc. La vue de la fontaine avec la Cathédrale en fond offre un joli point de vue. Je recommande la balade en se promenant en ville.
