MUSEU MUNICIPAL

It's a very pleasant little museum, which you can visit with a guide, which isn't often the case. It is housed in the diocesan seminary building, built at the end of the ^19th century. The collections are made up of works of sacred art from the convents of São Bernardo and Santa Clara, as well as private collections, including a series of... no fewer than 700 images of Santo António. You're sure to appreciate this touching ^15th-century pietà, and even more so this astonishing Christ, seated in the thinker's pose, called Senhor da Patience.
