Before starting your tour of the town, take a look at this little tavern, whose back wall features an incredible panel of painted tiles depicting a rising sun: hence the name of the establishment. The "Patisserie du soleil levant" is like one of those establishments, not uncommon in Portugal, where you come for a drink, a coffee or a quick lunch. A patisserie-glacier-snack bar where you can enjoy a tosta mista, the Portuguese croque-monsieur, or eat orange or curd queijadas.
