A vast, old-fashioned hotel located at the entrance to Castelo de Vide, 5 minutes from the town center. The 83 rooms, including 3 suites, are spacious and feature pretty, old-fashioned floral decor and antique bourgeois furnishings. Some have a terrace overlooking the valley and swimming pool. Fairly comfortable for a short stay (air conditioning, TV, laundry, wifi and private parking). Breakfast is good and varied. Special mention for the friendly, helpful staff. A Palmeira restaurant on site.
