CASA DO POVO
This small restaurant serves unpretentious, homemade Alentejo cuisine. You can eat upstairs, with your window open to the panorama, or on the large terracotta terrace, under the sky. Varied salads, gazpacho and grilled pork, salmon or swordfish are all on the menu. For starters, don't miss theaçorda, an invigorating soup, emblematic of rural cuisine, which has the particularity of not cooking: slightly stale bread, olive oil, salt, garlic, coriander, to which you add boiling water and an egg... and you're done!
