This place is magical but the entrance is hard to find: you have to go through the open door to a staircase on thesecond floor. The Mercado Negro is a large historic house transformed into an art center, second hand bookstore, and bar. The program is rich in exhibitions, young designers' stores, DJ sets and live concerts every week, with a funk, soul and rock atmosphere. Great period decor with chandeliers, old leather sofas and 1970s tapestries. Pool table. This is a must for the youth of the city.
