A little above ground, the Irish Bar de Viseu has been keeping for more than 15 years the promise of a change of scenery that its name implies: woodwork, signage, lighting, furniture, the decor takes us directly to Galway. Just like the drinks, including an Irish coffee, a speciality of the house, and some brands of beer from there. Another peculiarity: the bar is entirely smoked. To be visited on days other than 17 March, in case the visitor gets tired of the Lusitanian treasures, including the magnificent cathedral and its nearby square.
