You feel right at home, even more so when the owner's son hands you school notebooks on which are meticulously handwritten the tapas, petiscos and desserts available. Tables draped in the famous shawls favored by Lisbon fado singers host Portuguese specialties, but with a very personal touch. If you're passing through Peso da Régua, this is the place to dine.
