Since 1953, it is the house of the sweets of the city where one comes to taste local pastry specialities: tortas de Guimarães, douradinhas,rochas da Penha but also pasteis de noz, pasteis de chila... You can take an assortment and taste on the spot or take away your treasures. The Portuguese as well as the tourists love this place which is next to the main square. You will get your sugar shot for a while. The coffee is excellent. The service is smiling, full of good humor and smiles, and the prices are very reasonable.
