Housed in a beautiful 18th century building and founded in 1937 by the ethnographer António dos Santos Graça, this very didactic museum has a large collection of pieces about the fishing community of Póvoa. It is one of the oldest museums of ethnography in Portugal. Among the permanent exhibits: objects of the Roman culture, old kitchen of a noble house, local religious art, traditional games for children, old techniques of construction of boats.
