ENCANADA
Perhaps the most famous restaurant in Ponte de Lima with its beautiful tablecloths and cloth napkins. Located on the riverfront, the view from the terrace is breathtaking. After an assortment of queijo, presunto, and olives, dishes such asarroz de sarrabulho (marinated pork with rice), bacalhau à Encanada (cod with onions) or grilled prime rib (the meat from this region has an uncommon flavor!) will fill you with happiness. The desserts are perfect: leite creme queimado (burnt cream) or pudim de laranja (orange caramel cream)!
