For 4 months, ephemeral and creative gardens are worked, shaped and created by gardeners full of imagination and talent. They come from all over the world. A selection is made prior to the festival, before these original structures are exhibited to the public. It's a way of defending the natural heritage of Ponte de Lima, with a message of environmental protection. Each year, a theme is given pride of place. in 2023, the theme was "Healthy Gardens". the theme for 2024 is "Imagination in garden design".
