CENTRE FRANCO-OMANAIS
Born in 1979 of the will of the French State and the Sultanate of Oman to increase their cultural cooperation, the Centre is dedicated to the promotion of the French language and the French-speaking land of Oman. The centre offers collective and special French courses for all levels and age categories, as well as classic Arabic courses in special or dialectal courses. The centre has a library of about 4 000 references and offers its members access to Culturethèque, a digital media library developed by the French Institute.
The CFO is also one of the popular cultural destinations in Muscat, where exhibitions of artists from various backgrounds are regularly offered, but also conferences, a francophone film club and musical events.
