MAGIC CAMPS WAHIBA SANDS

Magic Camps Wahiba Sands is a fixed tented camp that opened in 2019 in the Sharqiya Sands desert (also called "Wahiba Sands"). It offers high-end services and facilities and its concept is based on respect for the environment. Under the starry desert sky, the stage is set for a glamping experience worthy of a thousand and one nights. This luxury oasis in the middle of the dunes will leave unforgettable memories for all our guests!

Each of the 10 Luxury Tents that welcome guests is composed of 2 tents: one (about 20m2) housing the room with an elegant nature-chic design with comfortable bedding on a woven wicker bed base, natural wood furniture and light wool or cotton materials colored in shades of the desert ecru, black and anthracite, coconut carpet. Soft lighting completes this intimate atmosphere at nightfall. The other adjoining tent is the private bathroom, respecting the sacred nature of water in the desert. It is of a refined simplicity: Indian-style shower on duckboard with water drawn from a tadelakt jar, terracotta sink, chemical toilet, soft towels and all the usual accessories of chic addresses.

The Majlis, inspired by Bedouin tents, is the center of the camp's life and offers different spaces. Sofas, armchairs, poufs decorated with cushions, as well as straw lamps create a cosy atmosphere in a refined and warm design.

Breakfast and dinner are the two highlights of the camp, with lunch usually taken outside the camp during excursions. Mixing western, Lebanese and local flavors, the cuisine is also authentic and refined. Spiced lamb on a spit, delicate marinated fish freshly caught or delicious grilled mutton "asado" will be on the menu for your dinner

Activities to discover the authentic soul of the desert

To complete this experience, a range of activities is offered: camel riding or hiking through the dunes, yoga at sunrise, star gazing and for the more adventurous, sandboarding down the dunes

The activities are adapted for children, just like our Magic Camps which is an ideal place to meet with family, friends or couples!

Excursions to discover the treasures of Oman in the vicinity of Magic Camps are also offered, such as the discovery of the unmissable Wadi Bani Khalid, ideal for a cool break by swimming in its emerald waters.

Magic Camps is inspired by the Bedouin nomads who leave no trace on the environment. Food is local, electricity comes from solar energy and water is used sparingly.
