Restaurant offering hearty dishes with local products, meats, and desserts.

He is now one of the Bayeux institutions, this Hole Normand, which brings together in the same tonneau of the land, followers of unusual atmospheres, good living and children. Eating in a tonneau where Calvados is refined is uncommon, but when the staff serves you traditional Norman clothes, it becomes almost surreal! On the kitchen side, local products dominate, giving roborant dishes, but quite well controlled. In the entrance, the eggs poached to the Livarot and the feuilleté of massif of Into to apples and bridge-the-bishop are unavoidable. As for the dishes, a good surprise, the mignon of pork is very soft and the cod in cider, cooked to the point. Caquelon lovers love the Norman fondue in cider, others prefer Léontines pies (puff puff paste of apple and onions conflict and agrémentée smoked ham, massif, or salmon). Go, with a soup salad… On the other hand, the desserts, the attention, the part, the desserts, the 3, the salé, the salé cream, the salty butter and fresh cream. Notice to the hurry, better not to be, the service is rather slow! A conference room with a customizable sono is now available for groups and receptions. As for gourmet shopping, it is convenient, they are done at the boutique shop.

Le restaurant etait cher, trop cher. On y paye que le concept et pas la nourriture, dommage car il y avait de quoi faire avec le terroir normand. C´est maintenant fermé.

Restaurant original avec des plats typiquement normands. Le prix est un peu élevé sur certains plats. Il me semble malheureusement que le restaurant est à présent fermé, dommage.

In the kind of the restaurant that all on the aesthetic and forget the rest. Welcome is not very warm, nice and original decor. Slow service, very slow, dish correct nothing more, bill that does not lack salt. You can call a tourist trap with depend on some nice restaurants.

Very good entry to the livarot.
But should be avoided dishes involving a little work the soft beef with only the name! Dry meat, nonexistent flavour except exciting little attention given to the meat, which in any case does not have had easy life considering its poor taste! And the end of fat
Fortunately it remains the service staff and professional but that does not do all...
Desolate but they were not good, at least what we could taste
In any case, we recommend it only in " cantine" to repair!
