From traditional bistro cooking, simple and direct. Fried steak, pork simmered or fisherman’s salad requinquent you with generosity and swallow without force, in a room in a friendly atmosphere, where the large clientele papote while the chef activates the glass that serves as a bulwark in the kitchen. Ludovic Leportier is playing the policy of transparency, a good gesture. There is no chichi around the county and Parmesan soufflé, the grilled salmon fillet, the collapse of cod and leeks, or the fine pie in the pie and ham, served by happy young girls in a communicative mood. They will be easily forgiven for the service, sometimes slow, but it is difficult to keep going back between the restaurant and its annex where Ludo with the classics of. We did not test the guts at Caen’s fashion - mea culpa - but apparently they are famous and we would tend to believe it, given that Ludovic won the Grand Prix National Tripière d’Or 2007…
