BALCONY HOUSE MUSEUM
Modest, older wooden house in the heart of the town center, featuring a classic 2-level structure with balcony.
In the heart of the town centre, the modest wooden house, the oldest in the town (it dates from the 18th century), stands out with its pink and white facade. It has a classical structure with two raised levels. It owes its name to the wooden balcony that adorns its second level. The Central Bank of the Bahamas acquired it in 1985 and completely renovated it, returning it to its former splendour. It now houses a museum where you can discover the interior of a mansion from another time with period furniture. A moving visit that exhales a perfume of yesteryear.
