DOLPHIN ENCOUNTERS
An organization offering an interactive and educational program with an encounter with dolphins, an original experience.
In 1996, Dolphin Encounters was chosen by Universal Studios to work on the Flipper series by providing three dolphins at the time. Today this organization offers an interactive and educational program with a meeting with dolphins. This experience is truly original and unforgettable for both big and small. The departure is from the ferry terminal of Paradise Island, the total duration of the excursion is from 3:00 a. m. to 3:30 a. m., regardless of the program chosen. The excursion starts with a transfer of about 20 minutes by boat to the Blue Lagoon Island, the scene of the film Splash and the place of residence of the international star Flipper. The 28 dolphins living in the property, consisting of marine enclosures, are turning into numerous films and documentaries. The nine programs are preceded by a dolphin educational conference (duration 10 minutes). One consists of an approach session and caresses, half-immersed to the size on a floating platform in a pontoon enclosed by the dolphins. Others allow swimming in a large basin with dolphins, lions or strays. Different approaches are organized under the guidance of a trainer and nothing is left to chance. The nail of the program is the footpush, which allows the swimmer to be propelled into the water by two dolphins that grow him by relying on his feet of feet, guaranteed sensations. Reservations are mandatory.
