LOYALIST MEMORIAL SCULPTURE GARDEN
Garden near the Albert Lowe Museum, featuring 25 busts of eminent figures on pedestals.
This garden, located not far from the Albert Lowe Museum, is also the fruit of the artist's labour and was built with funds raised by the New Plymouth Historical Society. It is a tribute to those who played an important role in the history of the Abacos: the Loyalists and their slaves, who survived and built a new life in the Bahamas. The 25 busts of eminent figures are arranged on pedestals whose layout reproduces the shape of the British flag!
