Pocket handkerchief museum in Alice Town, telling the story of the Biminis through a collection of old photographs.

This pocket handkerchief museum, which restores the history of the Bimini through a collection of old photographs, is in one piece. The different periods of the island, from the age of piracy to that of Prohibition are evoked. Hemingway and his fishing trophies are part of the local pride. The museum was founded in 1995, but the actual opening did not take place until 2000, after a fund-raising and restoration programme that saw the government building, then abandoned for nearly twenty years, brought back to life as a museum.
